Kawazu Shuzo

Kawazu Shuzo is a sake brewery located in Oguni Town, Aso District, Kumamoto Prefecture, brewing in the Oguni area on the northern side of the Aso outer rim mountains.
The brewery uses the abundant spring water of Oguni Town for brewing, and the pure water quality brings transparency to the sake.
Sake rice is primarily sourced from Kumamoto Prefecture, with premium sake-brewing rice varieties from Kyushu also used, achieving a diverse range of sake profiles.
Through traditional handcrafted techniques and careful temperature management, the brewery practices high-quality sake-making.
With distinctive brands such as "Horai," "Hanayuki," and "Shichihoda," the brewery showcases the charm of the Oguni area.
