Yoshimura Sake Brewery is a long-established brewery founded in the first year of the Meiji era (1868), located in the Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings in Ouda, Uda City, Nara Prefecture.
They brew sake using the cool climate of the Uda Highlands at an altitude of 330 meters, high-quality underground water, and carefully selected rice. While protecting tradition, they also challenge creative sake brewing full of historical romance, such as red rice sake using ancient rice and "Shinbutsu Shugo no Sake" (Sake of Syncretism of Shinto and Buddhism) brewed with shrine yeast based on temple records from 500 years ago.
Starting with the representative brand "Chiyo no Matsu", they have a lineup rich in individuality that reflects the climate and history of Uda, such as "Akino Monogatari" that makes you feel the romance of ancient times.
