Isaka Shuzoten is a brewery located in Hitachiota City, Ibaraki Prefecture, founded in 1818 (Bunsei 1). Located in the Satomi district surrounded by rich nature, they pursue true local sake brewing that sticks to locally produced brewing rice and pure water.
On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of its founding, they switched all raw material rice to that produced in the local Satomi district, further deepening community-based sake brewing.
They also brew unique sake using ancient rice "Murasaki Shikibu," working on sake brewing that fuses tradition and innovation.
