Shihaizakura Shuzo

Shihaizakura Shuzo, founded in the early Showa period, is a brewery located in Wada, Toride City. The sake name "Shihaizakura" is named after the Emperor's Cup (Shihai) presented to the winning wrestler of Grand Sumo and the cherry blossom (Sakura), which represents Japan, and embodies the meaning of good luck for competitions.
Using the abundant underground water of the Tone River and carefully selected high-quality rice, it features a light and savory (tanrei umakuchi) sake quality that you will never get tired of drinking. It is attractive for its sharp aftertaste without added sugars and has been loved for many years mainly in the local Toride City. They continue to protect the manufacturing method rooted in the region and brew sake that harmonizes with the local food culture.
