Nagasaki Bijin is the representative brand of Fukuda Shuzo, a nihonshu that embodies the terroir and tradition of Hirado.
It won the highest award, the Trophy, in the SAKE Daiginjo category at the 2025 International Wine Challenge (IWC) from among 140 entries, achieving a first for Nagasaki Prefecture. This award is proof that Nagasaki Prefecture's nihonshu has been recognized worldwide and demonstrates the high level of sake-making techniques in Hirado. It also won a Gold award at the IWC in 2022, earning high acclaim both domestically and internationally.
Brewed by Fukuda Shuzo, which holds a history of being recognized as the official sake purveyor of the Hirado domain, it is a brand representing Nagasaki, utilizing techniques cultivated through a long history and the rich natural blessings of Hirado.
