"Hakushika" is a representative brand brewed by Ishioka Shuzo. White deer have been revered as sacred animals representing good omens since ancient times, and it was loved as an auspicious brand name.
Although the brewery is currently closed, it is remembered as one of the brands that walked with the local food culture in historical Ishioka, where the provincial capital of Hitachi was located.
