Shingu City has flourished as the gateway to the Kumano Sanzan since ancient times and has been bustling with pilgrims visiting the Kumano Kodo. This brand name contains the brewery's desire to reflect respect for the sacred sites of Kumano and the history and nature of this land in sake brewing.
