"Koten Shuzo" is a long-established brewery located in Okaya City on the west bank of Lake Suwa, founded in 1871 (Meiji 4).
It has a history of making Shinshu known as a famous brewing region by receiving Nagano Prefecture's first "Honorary Award" at the National Sake Appraisal in 1928 (Showa 3).
Under the philosophy of "Skill, Harmony, and Heart," they continue to brew sake with a light and dry yet mellow taste that brings out the best of the local Miyama Nishiki rice.
