Marutakeshuzouten

Marutake Shuzoten is a historical brewery with a lineage of 14 generations, founded in Kuniyoshi, Aomori, as a merchant and village headman serving the 4th Lord of the Tsugaru Clan, Tsugaru Nobumasa.
Surrounded by mountains, with Mount Iwaki to the right and the Shirakami-Sanchi mountains at its center, the brewery crafts its sake in an environment blessed by nature and the waters of the Iwaki River, which originates from the Shirakami-Sanchi springs.
Their primary brands include "Dairinkikumori," available in genshu (undiluted) and honjozo styles, and a Junmai Ginjo called "Shirakami Roman no Utage."
They hold an annual brewery opening at the beginning of February, fostering a strong connection with the local community.
