Fukutokucho Shurui Co., Ltd., a member of the Oenon Group, was founded by Iseya Kaemon in Nada-Mikage during the Edo Kansei era. When presenting ginjo sake to the Shogun family, it was named from a passage in an ancient Chinese scripture, "If happiness and virtue are perfect, longevity is immeasurable."
Currently, sake brewing is carried out at the Nirasaki Factory in Hosaka-cho, Nirasaki City, Yamanashi Prefecture, with the motto "Good sake that can be drunk at an affordable price for the home." The sake brewed by the traditional Yamahai method is characterized by deep umami and richness, providing sake where you can enjoy the mellow umami of rice despite the low price.
