Sanko Masamune

Sanko Masamune is a venerable brewery founded in 1848 in Tessai-chō, Niimi City, bearing the auspicious company name meaning the three lights of "sun, moon, and stars."
Nestled at the foot of Mount Jagata in a rich natural environment, the brewery uses underground water from the mountain for its brewing.
The flagship brand "Jagata" takes its name from Mount Jagata, cherished as a brand expressing the region's history and terroir.
With a broad brand portfolio including "Sanko Masamune," "Sanko Koun," "Sanko Tenpu," and "Katsumasa," the brewery contributes to regional food culture with a diverse lineup from junmai daiginjo to ordinary sake.
Nurtured by the pure water and air unique to the mountainous northern Okayama region, the sake is characterized by its gentle, easy-drinking flavor.
