Its quality is highly evaluated, achieving 6 consecutive gold medals at the National New Sake Appraising, the only one in Fukui Prefecture to do so. Contrary to the brand name evocative of the rough waves of Fukui's severe winter and the strength living there, it features a delicate and transparent taste.
