「よこやま」シリーズの一環として、壱岐産の特等山田錦を50%まで磨き上げ、島の理想的な水で仕込まれています。フレッシュでフルーティーな味わいと、一杯目で記憶に残るような印象的な酒質が特徴です。
壱岐島の日本酒文化の再興を象徴する銘柄の一つです。
