Fukushima Shuzo

Fukushima Shuzo is a brewery located in Honmachi, Yame City, Fukuoka Prefecture, and is one of the breweries inheriting the traditional sake brewing of Yame.
Located in the townscape of "Yame Fukushima," an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings with rows of white-walled merchant houses, they continue sake brewing in a place that strongly retains the atmosphere of good old Japan. Yame, known as a production area of Yame tea, is also a sake brewing area blessed with high-quality water and rice, and the clear underground water of the Yabe River system supports sake brewing.
