"Toshimaya" is a long-established brewery located on the shores of Lake Suwa, founded in 1867 (Keio 3).
Known for the "Miwatari" brand named after the Omiwatari (God's Crossing) of Suwa Taisha Shrine, it has been loved locally for a long time.
While protecting tradition, they actively challenge new sake brewing such as "Hoka" incorporating the sensitivity of young brewers, and pursue sake brewing living in harmony with the nature of Shinshu.
