Its history dates back approximately 250 years, beginning with the Omi merchant Heijibei Morita, who traveled north on a Kitamaebune ship and settled in the region. Currently, the 11th generation owner serves as the president.
Their primary brands include "Komaizumi," "Shichiriki," and "Sakuta," and they have also launched a new brand called "Sakuta" (written as 朔田).
The Junmai Ginjo "Shichiriki" is particularly recommended, reflecting their diverse brewing techniques deeply rooted in the local community.
