Kitanosho

The name "Kitanosho" derives from the fact that Funaki Shuzo's family crest, "Three Wild Geese" (Karigane), resembled the crest of Shibata Katsuie, a fierce warlord who was the lord of Kitanosho Castle (near the current Fukui Castle ruins).
True to its name, it features a majestic taste that evokes the romance of history. Its clean mouthfeel and crisp finish make it ideal as a sake for meals, and it has long been loved as a local sake that accompanies Fukui's food culture.
