"Hatsuhi" was the flagship brand of the former Abusho Shuzo, a sake loved for a long time in the Ise region.
With a name that evokes the auspiciousness and hope of the first sunrise of the New Year, it colored many dining tables as a celebratory sake.
It was characterized by a clean taste that one never tires of drinking, and also had a history as a dedication sake to Ise Jingu Shrine.
Although it has now become a phantom sake due to the business closure, its name is deeply etched in the memories of local people.
