「鯨波」は山の上を流れる雲が優雅に泳ぐ鯨に似ていたことから誕生した銘柄で、標高約600メートルの山中という特殊な環境で醸されています。
岐阜県産の酒造好適米「ひだほまれ」と二ツ森山から湧き出る硬水（ミネラル分が豊富）を使用し、昔ながらの大きな和釜で米を蒸すなど伝統的な手法を守っています。
家族中心の丁寧な酒造りで、木曽の山並を眺める静かな山中で200年以上の歴史を紡ぐ蔵の個性が色濃く反映された日本酒です。
