"Hakuro" is a brand synonymous with Fujii Shuzo's aged sake brewing, derived from the "white wolf" in the legend of the discovery of Misasa Onsen.
They revived the brand from the Taisho era and established a unique technique of aging at room temperature for over 20 years in enamel tanks. It features a beautiful amber color and complex, multi-layered umami likened to sherry or Shaoxing wine. Winner of the Gold Medal and Trophy at the IWC (International Wine Challenge), it is a gem of aged sake evaluated worldwide as "drinking time."
