Kamonoi Shuzo was an ancestral brewery once located in Itakura-ku, Joetsu City, Niigata. For many years, it brewed local brands such as 'Kamonoi' and 'Tomiya,' supporting the regional food culture.
However, due to changing times, it became difficult to continue operations, and the business was transferred to 'Senryu Shuzo Juku' in 2000. Subsequently, following the withdrawal of Senryu Shuzo Juku in 2010, the brewery completely closed its long history.
*Note: This is a different brewery from 'Kamonishiki Shuzo (est. 1893)' located in Kamo City, Niigata, and care should be taken to avoid confusion.
