盛田の伝統的な銘柄で、古来の縁起の良い風習「子の日の遊び」にちなんで命名されました。
正月最初の子の日に、宮中の貴族が野に出て松の若木を引き抜き、長寿を祝う和歌を詠んだ風習から、11代目盛田久左衛門が繁栄を願って命名しました。
毎年「ねのひ 蔵開き」イベントを開催し、酒蔵見学や限定酒の販売を行っています。
「盛田 味の館」では、170年前の醸造蔵を改装した食のエンターテインメント施設で、酒や食品の試食試飲、酒蔵見学、限定商品の購入が可能です。
