Iwamura Brewery, founded in 1787 (Tenmei 7), is a brewery with a history of over 230 years in the castle town of "Iwamura Castle," one of Japan's three major mountain castles. Maintaining the philosophy "Reiro Fukuiku (clear and fragrant)" since its founding, it continues to brew elegant sake with clear natural water and carefully selected sake rice. The brewery with a long earthen floor, which used to use a trolley to transport raw rice, is also popular as a historical tourist spot.
