Kiyama Shoten is a long-established brewery that originated when several local landowners began brewing sake together. Located at the foot of Mt. Kiyama, home to the Special Historic Site "Kii Castle," it was named "Kihotsuru" imagining the beautiful figure of a dancing crane. The 4th generation brewer Kenichiro Komori handles the brewing. It has received high international acclaim, winning gold awards at the U.S. National Sake Appraisal and KURA MASTER. Its representative brand is "Kihotsuru".
