Sasame Sobe Shoten is a brewery located in Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture, founded in 1873 (Meiji 6). Located in front of Kasama Inari Shrine, one of the three major Inari shrines in Japan, it has been loved as a sacred sake (Omiki) since ancient times.
The representative brand "Futabasan Matsumidori" was named after Mount Futaba (Futabasan) located in the mountain range stretching from the Nikko mountain range to Mount Tsukuba, and the beautiful green pine trees.
Using the pure underground water of Mount Sashiro and carefully selected brewing rice, it continues to protect the traditional taste where the five tastes of sweetness, dryness, acidity, bitterness, and astringency are harmonious.
