Hogaraka (Bright/Cheerful) is a brand brewed by Hamakura Shuzo that symbolizes a bright and cheerful heart and good luck. The word 'Hogaraka' contains a sunny warmth without obsession or grudges, and it was named with the wish to soothe the drinker's heart.
It featured a friendly and soft taste within the light and pure drinking sensation typical of Niigata sake. As its name suggests, it was loved primarily locally as a sake suitable for happy banquets and chatting with close friends. Although it is no longer manufactured, it is a memorable masterpiece that makes you feel the bright passion of the past brewers.
