Kikunoshiro Honpo

Kikunoshiro Honpo was a sake brewery located in Kikuchi City, Kumamoto Prefecture (now closed). It was a brewery that walked alongside the culture of the historic castle town of Kikuchi. It used water from the Kikuchi River system and brewed sake with locally grown rice. Its flagship brand, Kikunoshiro, was beloved locally as a sake that expressed the history and tradition of Kikuchi.
