司牡丹は司牡丹酒造の代表銘柄で、420年以上の歴史を持つ高知の地酒です。「牡丹は百花の王、さらに牡丹の中の司たるべし」という意味が込められた名前で、元宮内大臣の田中光顕伯により命名されました。
佐川町という歴史と文化の町で醸され、伝統的な技法と革新的なチャレンジを組み合わせた酒造りを行っています。
