白牡丹は江戸時代から続く歴史ある白牡丹酒造の主力銘柄で、京都の五摂家の一つである鷹司家から家紋にちなんで「白牡丹」の名を授けられた由緒正しい日本酒です。
甘口でうま味のある味わいが特徴で、夏目漱石、棟方志功、今東光などの著名な文化人に愛されてきた歴史があります。
西条の伝統的な軟水醸造法を継承し、広島らしいやさしい味わいを体現している銘柄です。
